Search tags, scroll to position does not work in preview mode

Steps to reproduce

Search for a tag, make sure you use preview mode.

Expected result

Scroll to tag when selecting it from the list of tag entries found.

Actual result

Does not scroll to position.

Environment

  • Operating system:
    MacOSX 10. 15.7
  • Obsidian version:
    v0.12.3.

Additional information

If the view(s) are in edit mode the scroll to position happens.

I can’t reproduce. Post a screen recording on the help vault.

It’s easy to repro. However, I’ve yet to find a decent screen recorder, either the UI is convoluted and no decent way to stop the recording, or it’s in-pay options so nothing works. Recommend me something useable.

PS: Most of them are just confused with a multi-monitor setup and either don’t record the right thing or hide the controls so I can’t stop recordings. Ho ho.

@ksandvik You can use QuickTime Player (built in to every Mac). No 3rd party software needed.
