Use case or problem

When I search in Bases by tag and click a note to view it, then press back, I am returned to the root of Bases instead of my previous search results — losing my filter entirely.

Proposed solution

Bases should remember the previous search/filter state when navigating back.

Current workaround (optional) Must manually re-enter the search filter each time after viewing a note.

A few workarounds:

  • press ctrl (Windows) and hover over the note name to bring up Page preview if enabled. You can quickly view or edit the note there.
  • ctrl click the note to open it in a new tab (the base keeps its search).
  • ctrl-alt click the note to open it in a new tab group to the right (the base keeps its search).
