Navigate editor with search feature

Steps to reproduce In an edit pane, ⌘F to search for a text. Type the search string Hit escape Expected result The search target is highlighted, and I can hit a cursor key to start typing. Or use cursor keys to get to the beginning or end of the highlighted region. Actual result Nothing is highlighted, and the cursor is invisible until I click into the pane with the mouse.
