I have try searching through this forum, using Google search and finally searching at the Github for plugins.

What I’m trying to do

I would like to rename all the attachments or assets for a more consistent naming pattern to make it easier to recognize, find, rename, or delete them.

Does anyone know of a plugin, script or other work around to rename the attachments or assets of a single note, all notes under a folder or all note under vault?

I would also like to know if this is possible.
I’ve been culling quite a lot of notes lately because they’re old and they’re no longer relevant but I recently realised that any images embedded in those deleted notes are now orphaned in my attachments folder.

For your situation, you can use the Find Unlinked Files plugin to find and delete any attachments that no longer linked to a note.

Another useful plugin is the Consistent Attachments and Links. Check it out.
