Remember scroll situation outside of linear navigation

Sorry for the clunky title, it’s the best I could think of.
So! After a little break, I started using obsidian again, and I discovered that temporary scroll location saving was implemented! It’s fricking awesome, and makes working on large documents SO MUCH EASIER. It might be my favorite Obsidian feature yet. But… there is one problem. Scroll location is only saved when navigating forwards and backwards, with the ctrl+alt+← key combo. It would be great if clicking on a file in the folder tree to the left did the same thing! I can imagine a couple use cases where you wouldn’t want this feature, so I think it would make a good Editor or File option.
Merci beaucoup!
