Steps to reproduce

  1. Turn on Save Mode so as to disable all third-party plugins.
  2. Create a template with two {{date}} placeholders.
  3. Create a new note.
  4. Insert the template you created in step 2.

Expected result

Both {{date}} placeholders should be replaced with the current date.

Actual result

The first placeholder is replaced as expected, but the second is not.

Environment

  • Operating system: macOS
  • Obsidian version: 0.12.6

Additional information

The time placeholder {{time}} is still expanding just fine.
