Let’s say that I create a zettelkasten link [[20102123123 Some title]]. That link will show up like that in the document in the preview.
The plugin would automatically reformat links to add the pipe and the title. Ie [[20122312312 Some title|Some title]] so it shows up nicely in the preview.
