[Question] Can I connect a copied vault to Obsidian Sync, or must it be empty?

I got a new (to me) iPad, and as part of the setup process, all of my local files were conveniently copied over from the other iPad. Can I connect that folder to the corresponding Obsidian Sync remote, or do I have to start with an empty folder? Or, since it contains config files, is it already connected and all I have to do is open the vault? (I haven’t opened it yet, to be safe.) I imagine Obsidian Sync would just sort things out, but I don’t want to risk making a mess.

you should be able to reconnect that vault without problems. However, I do suggest you doing a full backup first on desktop.
