Pulling in a random quote into my daily note

Hi all,

I know a variation of this question has been asked previously, but having looked as various previous posts and responses, nothing meets my precise circumstances, or I’m too technically challenged to make the necessary amendments.

I have a number of notes stored with the tag #quote. Each quote is in a separate note.

Is there a way I can pull a quote note at random into my dashboard?

If the quotes are in notes that only contain quotes, the Dice Roller plugin can do it.

If each quote is in its own note, DataView or Dice Roller can do it.

If the quotes are in notes with non-quotes, I don’t know of a way to do it (tho I think a plugin could be written to do it).
