Publish: 'selected' counter is zero at the beginning

Steps to reproduce

  1. Have some changes in files in your vault.
  2. Click the Publish changes icon in the left side bar.
  3. You see a list of changed files, with all files in the list selected by default. No need to check/uncheck any files.
  4. The counter of selected files shows incorrectly 0 selected.

Expected result

It should show 2 selected.

Environment

  • Operating system: Windows 10
  • Debug info:
    SYSTEM INFO:
    Obsidian version: v0.13.23
    Installer version: v0.13.23
Operating system: Windows 10 Home 10.0.19042
    Login status: logged in
    Catalyst license: none
    Insider build toggle: off
    Live preview: on
    Legacy editor: off
    Base theme: light
    Community theme: Red Graphite
    Snippets enabled: 2
    Safe mode: off
    Plugins installed: 5
    Plugins enabled: 5
    1: Advanced Tables
    2: Shell commands
    3: Dangling links
    4: Automatically reveal active file
    5: Emoji Toolbar

RECOMMENDATIONS:
Custom theme: for cosmetic issues, please first try updating your theme to latest. If still not fixed, please try to make the issue happen in the help vault or disable community theme and snippets.
Community plugins: for bugs, please first try updating all your plugins to latest. If still not fixed, please try to make the issue happen in the help vault or disable community plugins.

(I have some community plugins enabled at the moment, but I think those should not affect this small display error in Publish.)

thanks

My suggestion on how to solve this: Make Obsidian not to select anything by default. I like to select manually the pages I want to publish, because I often leave some changes unpublished. This would prevent accidental publishes.

will be fixed in 0.14.6
