Pros
- It has many plugins for various features.
- It is fully modifiable, except for a few things.
- It is a little easier to use than Notion, but on mobile both are (0%) intuitive, which is extremely frustrating.
- I found the minimalist theme available very pleasant.
Cons
- It is paid in dollars, it is not cheap and as far as I saw it does not have Real as a payment method, which makes it impossible for me to use it on mobile (where it is more viable to put my routines and tasks) and $10 for us Brazilians for 1GB of storage is a crime.
- It takes a long time to use like Notion.
- It is not easy to increase the font of a word or letter.
- A lot of important information, such as that of the plugins, is in English (it would be much more inclusive and better if there was an optional automatic translation in Obsidian itself).
- Behind the AI trends.
- There are no functional Markdown tools that are more efficient when writing, and you have to memorize everything to be able to use it (the plugins are practically decorations).
- The support pages usually do not have 100% of the content in Portuguese, whereas all the necessary information appears in English and this makes no sense at all.
- Some extra tools such as drawing should be more widespread in the application, because if I have to draw I would have to draw in Paint and save it as an image to import it into Obsidian, and the “Ink” plugin is terrible because it simply does not stop crashing and does not have any tools inside it. The only positive point was that it identified the pressure of my pen on the Wacom by One digital tablet.
