On Mac, when you select multiple items in the Files pane using the Command button and then use the context menu “Move # items to…” the files get moved to the folder, but once there, they remain selected in their new location.
I never noticed this behavior because I often clicked on another file, which would unselect the files that had just been moved.
If you use Opt-select to move more files immediately after (or after previously Opt-selecting files), because the previously moved files remain selected, these are added to Obisidian’s list of selected files and all of these will then moved. The only way to unselect the originally moved files is to select/open a new one or to navigate to the new folder and Opt-unselect them.
