Pressing "Enter" in the middle of the list breaks list items below the list

Steps to reproduce

Create a list like this:

1. [ ] a
2. [ ] list
3. [ ] some
4. [ ] things

Place cursor after the word ‘list’ on the second line. Press “Enter”.

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? [Y/N]

Yes. This is reproducible in sandbox vault, latest version 1.4.16

Expected result

1. [ ] a
2. [ ] list
3. 
4. [ ] some
5. [ ] things

Actual result

1. [ ] a
2. [ ] list
3. 
4. some
5. things

Additional information

I think this also break other things than just checkboxes, but can’t remember right now.
