Pressing enter in a numbered list without any content on the line deletes the line instead of incrementing

Steps to reproduce

  1. open Help vault
  2. new note
  3. type “Hello world↵ enter↵ enter
  4. type “1. ↵ enter
  5. instea of putting a “2.” on a newline, the “1.” is deleted and cursor remains on the current line

Expected result

Hello world

1.
2. 

Actual result

Hello world
                  ←blank line

(Line is deleted)

I would have expected this behaviour. It’s the same in an unordered list: pressing enter in an empty empty row is the way to end the list.

This is an intentional change.

Hmm, ok. I had gotten used to it “staying in the list” and having to backspace the last number to end. I guess I can just type “1. x” ↵ to make a placeholder. I’ll try to get used to that.
