Steps to reproduce
- In a note, create a header and style it to be different than default. To do this without a css snippet or 3rd party plug ins, simply make it italic
## *Italic Heading*
- In another note create an internal link to the heading
[[Note#*Italic Heading*]]
then hover over the link holding control so the pop-over preview appears.
Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? [Y/N]
Yes
Expected result
I expect the resulting pop-over to display the header as it is styled, such as Italic Heading. The same as when viewing a pop-over preview for a link to the entire note ([[Note]]
). All styling displays as expected when linking to the entire note, this only occurs when the link is directly to a header.
Actual result
Instead of displaying the styled header, the header displays all text and markdown/code. So instead of Italic Header it shows “*Italic Header*
”.
This happened with the latest update on 10/16. Prior to that links to headers displayed styling just fine. I really hope this can be fixed asap as I’ve yet to find a work around. I may end up attempting to roll back until this is fixed even though it fixes other annoying bugs, since I use pop overs with links to headings to display definitions of things on hover in my project and having them messed up is a pain.
