Pop!_OS Cursor size is not respected inside Obsidian

Steps to reproduce

  1. Settings --> Universal Access --> increase cursor size
  2. Open Obsidian
  3. When cursor is inside the obsidian window cursor size is default not the larger size as set in Universal access

Expected result

Cursor size should match OS setting

Actual result

Cursor “Shrinks” to default size

Environment

  • Operating system: Pop!_OS 20.04 LTS
  • Obsidian version: 0.7.6

We use CodeMirror for the editor, which emulates the cursor. I don’t think we’ll modify CodeMirror to fix this.

Is the cursor size normal for other parts of Obsidian, like when editing the title or when searching? If so, the cursor size will work in the further WYSIWYG editor, just not the source editor powered by CodeMirror.

Unfortunately Its small in all of the app. Not just the source code/ code mirror part.
