Apologies in advance if similar posts have been made to this but I’ve submitted a PR for a new plugin 5 weeks ago and I’m wondering if I just need to wait more because it usually takes this long or if I still have something that I need to do to move this process forward. If anyone could give me more information on how to proceed, that would be great, thank you!
For more information the PR has been marked ready for review for 5 weeks now as well and this is the PR: https://github.com/obsidianmd/obsidian-releases/pull/8988
Honestly, it depends on many factors like your codebase size, reviewer load, and the current backlog. It usually takes a while. I can’t give a specific timeframe, but my plugin (which wasn’t complex) took roughly three months. I’m not sure if every plugin requires two reviewers, but mine had to pass the reviewer bot plus two human reviewers before being accepted.
My advice is to be patient. I assume you’ve already passed the bot, so now you just have to wait for a human reviewer and resolve any issues they raise.
I’d suggest waiting another month; if you still haven’t received a response by then, try opening a post here on the forum again.
