What I’m trying to do
Plugin removed from ‘community-plugins.json’ — Writing StudioPlugin removed from ‘community-plugins.json’ — Writing Studio
Things I have tried
My plugin, Writing Studio, was removed from the Obsidian in-app community plugin browser this evening (approximately 7:30 PM CST, June 2) alongside 12 to 14 other plugins in what appears to have been a batch automated operation.
The plugin is in good standing: the public listing page is intact, all automated review checks pass, and the GitHub repository is fully accessible. The removal appears to be from community-plugins.json in obsidianmd/obsidian-releases, which drives the in-app browser. The plugin is not currently discoverable or updatable from within Obsidian.
If you click the “Add to Obsidian” button on the public listing page, it opens the app, launches the community plugins browser, and searches for Writing Studio, but cannot locate it, because it was removed from the community-plugins.json file in obsidianmd/obsidian-releases.
Is there anything I should be doing on my end to expedite restoration, or any context you can share about what triggered the removal? Please advise.
Thank you for your time!
