New Beta Plugin: Related Notes
Hi, Obsidian Community!
I’m excited to share the first version of my plugin, Related Notes, which uses AI to reveal how a note relates to others—all while keeping everything fully local and private. If you’re on Mac or Linux, you can give it a try by installing the BETA version via BRAT. Unfortunately, I haven’t cracked support for Windows or mobile devices just yet, but I’m working on it!
I’d love to hear your feedback and suggestions for the plugin—what you like, what could be better, and any features you’d like to see implemented.
While it shares some functionality with the excellent Smart Connections, Related Notes focuses exclusively on uncovering similar notes while making privacy a top priority—no external APIs, ever.

This project has so much potential, and I’d love your help to make it even better. Right now, I’m focused on getting a stable and widely compatible version out first, but I’m also dreaming of some exciting features for the future.
