Hi everyone,
I have used sublime text for years and used to do programming within it and to make all my notes within it. However, it isn’t as versatile as Obsidian and isn’t supposed to be used for taking of notes.
- I’m not sure if its a problem with only me or other people. I cannot read black and white text easily and with focus.
- If the text is colored, it really helps with reading.
I’ve recently switched to Obsidian and the one feature I miss is, coloring of random words. Its not really random but actually based off of keywords in programming languages, in sublime text, I would configure it as:
- I would set the programming language to either “Matlab” or “C”
- This in turn would color all the (key)words I’d type and make it easier for my brain to read them
Solution?
Coloring of random words or keywords based on a programming language syntax (Matlab) should do.

I’ll sometimes bold the fonts to make it easier for me to read but if I export the notes and give it to someone else, they’ll be confused by the bolding of each character:
