Plugin: Chronos Timeline - interactive timelines from Markdown

Bases support is great.

Can we expect support for our own properties? This can be configured in the “Chronos Timeline” preferences panel.

Examples:

start - fixed to → debut
end - fixed to → fin

description - fixed to → flash

Good question.

and @JamesKF

Absolutely, from the settings you can ensure “Use AI features” is toggled off.

AI is completely opt-in and nothing is sent out of your device without you setting up an AI provider.

Sorry, how can we set a different height for the Timeline on a Bases view?

The Events sometimes overlaps the Period names when you have many elements :frowning:

I seem to not be able to use the AI function. It keeps responding with Request failed, status 429

Love the look and utility. I plan on using this tool for my D&D game. Is there a way to move the current day mark to a particular date in time so I can have it at any year I’d like it to be instead of defaulting to today?

Thanks for the feedback! There currently isn’t a way to move the “today” red line. However, if you’d like to focus on a particular date, you can use a combo of flags to disable the today line, default a view to a certain date, and add a marker

> NOTODAY
> DEFAULTVIEW 1000|2030

- [1000~3000] foo
= [1500] my marker

Sorry just seeing this now - have you tried it recently with latest updates? If you continue to have an issue, please share which provider/model you are having an issue with

Is there a way to add flags to a Chronos Bases view? I want to remove the Today marker and to change the default view
