Place 'templates' folder in '.obsidian' but expose to UI

Typically, I add a Vault to existing projects, which mostly are Git repositories containing my software development work. This makes the whole project folder a Vault.

It seems, the ‘Templates’ folder is recognized by Obsidian only, if in the root of the Vault, but I find this kind of annoying, since it has nothing to do with the project itself.

Therefore I would like to add it to the .obsidian folder. It would also make sense, to expose this folder (optionally) to the UI, so one can edit and preview templates from within Obsidian.

Thanks, Andreas.

You should also add your support to Hide select vault folders from Obsidian.

Done!
