In my vault I have an issue in the File Explorer side panel. The folders I am working in are left with a square filet box around then. After a while there is a lot of them and It is quite disturbing.
If I close the vault and reopen it, then the boxes are gone bit they’ll come back.
I’ve tried with different themes, but this does make any difference.
Any clue on this one?
What community plugins are you using? I remember one was doing something like that, but don’t recall the name at the moment.
If you run the command show debug info and post the community plugins enabled you are using, maybe someone can spot it.

I do not have that. What operating system are you on? What is the version of Obsidian? How was the software installed? Does it happen in a different vault? Try renaming the configuration folder of Obsidian, then start Obsidian again - it will create a new factory default configuration. Does it happen again?
I beleive this may be the vault changelog plugin, if you have that installed and enabled. I was getting the same issue until i disabled that plugin.
My vault is on iClould Drive, so I followed the disabling “Optimize Mac Storage” as said in the Troubleshooting Guide and the problem has disappeared for now.

It’s still a community plugin causing the issue, not iCloud Drive, but glad it’s fine for now.
