Having so many pinned posts means I have to scroll to the bottom, but pins are not very different looking that actual posts which means I have to pay attention when scrolling to get to the right spot. The worst offender is share & showcase

Happily, you can unpin things for yourself.
The pins are useful, especially for new users.
