Steps to reproduce

PDF files do not always render text, but do show graphics. Seems to be related to the PDF
being encrypted. An example (copied to local file system):

Expected result

Complete PDF. Text is rendered in other PDF viewers.

Actual result

No text.

Environment

  • Operating system: WIndows 10
  • Obsidian version: v0.6.4
  • Using custom CSS: no

The same issue with v0.6.5 on Mac (no custom CSS). Example pdf: geometry-of-linear-equations.pdf

Once, we update to a newer version of electron, we should get another PDF viewer. Hopefully, it will solve this issue.

Same Issue, in my case, the PDF file loaded after extremely long period of time.
The version that I am currently running is 0.7.6, both on Mac and windows

Same issue here. I am running 0.8.9 on Windows 10.

Confirmed still seeing the same issue on a Mac using version 0.9.6.
