Pasting via Textexpander or copying adds unwanted characters

Steps to reproduce

I use text expander for many things, including adding standard texts or lines into obsidian. When using my date macro (it should add "day.month.year), it actually adds “”.

EDIT: Now this is cool, it doesn’t display what I wrote. Here’s a screen:

Even if I delete those extra character and copy the result via clipboard, those characters are re-added. I have verified this to only happen in Obsidian. If I use the extension here, for example… 05.10.2021

Environment

  • Operating system: macOS Big Sur 11.6
  • Obsidian version: 0.12.15

Has anyone else experienced this?

If you paste via “Paste as plain text”, does that fix it?

Sometimes that has fixed formatting discrepancies.
