The last level should be "2. ", but it stays as "1. " even if you unindent and indent.
Shift+Enter is used for soft line breaks within paragraphs/list items thus preventing number incremental, so you have to use Enter to trigger a new list item number.
Yes, but the new list item number will always be "1. ", and in my example, it should be "2. "
I downloaded your note and tested it, when I press Enter (without shift) the list item goes to 2 automatically.
No, you have to place the cursor at the end of the image link before you hit Enter (without shift)
