Option to tell Obsidian text is NOT code

Use case or problem

I’m using Obsidian for creative writing notes only. Unfortunately, markdown means it reads the way I organize text as code when it’s not code. This is very annoying and I’d like to be able to double-space in indented text without it all turning red.

Proposed solution

I think if Obsidian could add what basically amounts to an “I don’t know anything about code, so please stop reading it that way” mode, that would be helpful for a lot of writers.

Current workaround (optional)

Currently just dealing with not being as easily able to read my own text because of a lack of paragraph spacing.

Related feature requests (optional)

I did search for “code mode” and couldn’t find anything related to this problem. Also the related suggestions didn’t have anything to do with this, either.

Btw I’m extremely unlikely to use this forum again, and I only came here to request this feature because Discord mods said it’s easier for them.
