I use publish to write movie reviews, and sometimes I’ll link to another movie, or an actor that I don’t have a page yet. Would love an option to have it rendered as normal text instead of a link to a not existing (yet) page.
The reason I like to do that is because then I can check my vault locally for broken links (or maybe create the pages as drafts and not publish them), instead of trying to keep notes on all things I might want to create a note later on
