I would like to hide specific files with specific extension, so they will not show in th folder view (like obsidan.css)

Most unsupported extensions won’t show up, or you can put them under a folder that starts with a period (e.g. .hidden).

Does either method work for you?

Yes for example my .git folder is hidden.

Actually the CSS file was another file I created playing with obsidian CSS, not the one that Obsidian is using.

So this issue could be closed as for this moment.
