This is (what seems to me) a minor request:
Add to the command palette:
Open Vault XOpen Vault YOpen Vault Z
This would effectively integrate the Open Vault and the Command Palette features.

Yes! Just came here to request this same feature.
Right now switching vaults is such a pain because you have to:
Step 3 is the most annoying part, because it forces us to step away from the keyboard it reach for the mouse. As far as I can tell, there isn’t an easy way to click on the desired vault just using the keyboard. If the vault name were integrated into the command palette, we could get rid of step 3 entirely and make multiple vauls a little less painful to work with.
It might seem like a minor thing, but when you switch vaults often, being able to switch quickly makes a huge difference.
Having just started using multiple vaults myself, I’d love a feature like this. Being able to bind a hotkey to a specific vault would be awesome. All that’s needed is to add these commands to the command palette, and then people could bind them to hotkeys or buttons.
Currently it is possible to set up the OS to execute “obsidian obsidian://vault/…” on certain keyboard shortcuts, but since I use Obsidian on multiple OSes, it’s a pain, and it opens a separate window. There is also a lag before the switch happens. A built-in command would be much easier.
Maybe even consider a command to switch to the previously open vault:
Open Last Vault
