Open Linked Mentions in New Tab with Ctrl+Left Click

The Linked Mentions are fantastic for skimming through notes, and being able to click a particular link to go to the note is incredible.

The problem is, I don’t want to lose the spot I’m at in the Linked Mentions page I’m originally on.

Request: I would like to “Ctrl+Left Click” a linked mention, then have a new tab open and focused on, similar to opening normal backlink. This would preserve my location on the original page, allowing me to quickly close the new page without having to re-scroll down on the original page.

Do you have any plugins enabled? Also double check that you’re on the latest version of Obsidian. The behavior you’re describing seems to already be the behavior in the app.

Thank you for pointing that out. I did identify it as a plugin issue, the Better Search Views plugin. Looks like there’s been a bug for over a year. I’ll add a comment, hopefully fixed soon. Much appreciated.
