"Open link under cursor" shortcut doesn't work for links in Properties

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a note
  2. Create a second note
  3. Add a property to the first note (text or list type)
  4. Add an internal link in that property to the second note
  5. Ensure you are in live preview mode
  6. Using the keyboard, navigate to the property created
  7. Press enter key in order to place cursor inside the “property value(s) box”
  8. Using the keyboard, place cursor inside internal link brackets (if property is of type text) or place cursor “over” internal link to highlight it (if property is of type list)
  9. Press “Open link under cursor in new tab” keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Enter by default)

Additional information

This shortcut doesn’t work in source mode either. Neither for links in text properties nor for links in list properties.

this is not a bug. We just do not support this.

Open link under cursor is an editor command that operates in the markdown portion of the text.

Please, open a FR to extend this command to work within the properties UI and in source mode within the YAML section
