Old bug revived? Zoom resets to 100% after restart

I know, this has been brought up a hundred times and all relevant threads have been solved and closed, I’ve read them, but it’s happening to me now.

For those of you who don’t remember the problem:

  • Go to Apperance / Zoom level, set it to anything but 100%
  • Close Obsidian
  • Launch it again: My UI is back at 100%

What I’ve tried and didn’t make a difference:

  • I’ve created new vaults on unsynced and synced folders, avoiding or choosing the folders mentioned on other threads, on 3 different hard drives (and only changed the zoom level, no other setting)
  • I’ve used a CSS snippet as stated here: Keeping zoom level between sessions - Help - Obsidian Forum Same result.
  • I’ve tried both the Flatpak and regular Arch repository Obsidian versions, both v1.9.14

Is this bug out of the graveyard for anyone else? How can I please solve it? Under 144 zoom I can’t see very well, so it’s becoming a pain to adjust it so often.
Thank you.

Argh! I was sure I had read everything, but I must have skipped that one. Sorry and thank you.

Ha! All good.

As you mentioned it looks like it was an issue, wasn’t an issue, and now an issue again (on Linux anyway). The forgetful zoom zombie :man_zombie:

I’m on Wayland and I can’t test it right now, so I might have clicked the “solved” button too quickly… it might become an issue again
