I use Obsidian heavily for documentation.

Markdown works perfectly inside Obsidian.

But exporting clean PDF and editable DOCX versions has always been painful.

I tried Pandoc, Obsidian plugins, and online converters.

They worked, but often broke Mermaid diagrams or required extra setup.

So I built md2pdf.

It converts Markdown to PDF and editable DOCX with:

GitHub-style rendering
Mermaid support
SVG support
Fully offline

I have no use for it, alas, unless it can do plantUML (much niftier and cleaner diagrams than with Mermaid) and my whole vault with internal links working (taking me to another page in the document, regardless how big that is).
