Can I remove principal Vault in other directory?

Hi there, and welcome here.

I’m not sure I understand you fully. Do you mean you want to move your vault to a different directory?

If so, yes, it’s possible (your vault is just a bunch of files in a directory):

  • Close Obsidian
  • Then move your main vault directory with all its subfolders to another place, using your operating system’s file manager. (The possibly hidden “.obsidian” folder must also be moved!)
  • The open Obsidian again, select “Open Folder as vault” and point it to your new directory.

Everything should work again.

Note: It helps a lot giving your posts meaningful titles (you can edit them), like “Move vault to different directory?”
