Obsidian Web Clipper won't append to an existing note

Steps to reproduce

Use the web-clipper to append content to an existing note.

Yes

Expected result

Obsidian is brought to the foreground and data is appended to the top or bottom of the note depending on the selected option.

Actual result

Obsidian is brought to the foreground but nothing is appended.

It works fine when creating a new note instead of appending.

Couldn’t find a way to edit my post.

I noticed that if the clipper is activated while Obsidian is closed it’s working as expected. The application opens and the entry is appended to the note. If Obsidian is already open nothing happens other than bringing the app to the foreground.

Is this a problem specifically of web clipper or of Obsidian URI?
