Obsidian version history

Is there a way (either natively in obsidian or with a plugin) to have something similar to google docs’ version control? I have regularly scheduled backups of my entire vault, but I’m wondering if there’s any sort of functionality for easily viewing past versions of files within obsidian itself.

File Recovery has a rudimentary version system. Obsdian Sync offers complete version control.

For a more complete/free alternative, if you are technically inclined, I would recommend using git. There is a community plugin for it - you can set it to automatically backup every x minutes, where you choose x. If you use git, you could also upload it to a git file hosting service like github or gitlab, and sync your obsidian vaults across devices.
