Is there a way to do this easily? I have just imported my onenote notebooks. Most of it are webpage clips. I noticed that a lot of space is taken by attachment and many times are attachment that do not really add to the value of the clip. For instance, forum replies showing the avatar of the user, generic background images, etc
Things I have tried
I know I can scroll through the page and delete manually everytime I see an image. But this is so much work if I want to delete all images. I wish I could right click on the note and do “Delete Attachments” - Even if I have to later use a plug in to delete orphan attachments.

This line shows you understand how this works. What you want is remove the references to the attachments to clean up the notes and you expect some plugin to exist to delete the actual attachments themselves. – Which probably exist but I’m unsure if they remove references from markdown files as well.
Otherwise you’d need a regex replace job to target the kind of stuff you don’t need and replace those with zero string, although then you won’t know which reference corresponds with which attachment.
So keep looking for plugins, otherwise this will be tough.
