obsidian regex query generator for searching frontmatter

I use frontmatter fields key and value as categorization instead of tags. I made a quick search query generator for excluding specific frontmatter metadata values and other functions.

features:

  • search in frontmatter or note content.

  • AND, OR, Obsidian AND, Obsidian OR

  • “ordered / unordered” toggle for search results relative to the search query.

  • “loose / strict” toggle for case-sensitivity.

  • comma-based AI prompts “exclusion / inclusion” in the result.

  • tags “inclusion / exclusion / tag only” toggle.

  • ignored path (utility folders’ path) list.

  • specific #obsidian_ignore tags ignore.
