It would be great if there is a free pro subscription of obsidian for students. Being a student, this tool would help me to stay in sync. There are lots of services and sites which provide a free pro subscription to students: jetbrains, educative.io and several others. The best way would be to team up with github, so that we can receive the benefits with the student developer pack.

But there is no pro version of Obsidian? The only paid extras are Obsidian Sync and Obsidian Publish

That would certainly be great, but you have to remember that Obsidian is made by a Team of two people (and two cats - About - Obsidian).

They might not have the Resources to do something like that like those Big Companies you mentioned.
