Hello, today I started obsidian as usual but I noticed it opened with the default theme and not the one I have installed. As I checked the config, I noticed it had disabled all the plugins I had installed, wich then I turned on again and tried to restore the settings I had previously.
As I continued, some of my notes bugged out and got corrupted, showing a bunch of symbols.
I closed the app and noticed the same thing again, everything disabled and as I opened another file, it got corrupted.
I dont want to open the app again because I dont want to keep losing files. Im doing a physical backup later but I dont know what could be causing this problem. Any ideas?

Where is your vault located? Is it in iCloud Drive, One Drive, etc.?
From what you describe, it sounds like a sync service removed some files. e.g. Obsidian didn’t know what to do with missing config files when starting up, so some default settings were loaded when you opened the vault.
Im not using any external sync service. My vault is located in an SD Card in an android tablet. Ive never had this issue before and I dont know what could be causing Obsidian to not load the theme/plugins configuration.
do you happen to use a samsung keyboard? i have the same issue on my samsung phone whenever i use samsung keyboard in obsidian, the issue disappear once i switch to other keyboards, try that and report back here if it’s the same on your side
Yes, I do use a Ss keyboard! But I find it weird that its bugging this bad right now with no apparent reason. Ive been using this tablet for a couple years now and no major bugs like this have happened before. But I will give it a try!

The problem was solved by deleting everything and loading a backup. Discord
