What I’m trying to do
I am currently using Pop OS with gnome, which has a built in google drive feature in the file explorer. I am trying to use that to open my obsidian folder stored in my google drive to sync it across all my devices. I am able to point obsidian to the correct folder in my google drive. When trying to open the folder, it tells me Failed to Open. No permission to access folder. I am able to open the files directly not through obsidian, so I’m not sure exactly what is going on.
Things I have tried
I am able to open the files directly not through obsidian, so I’m not sure exactly what is going on. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling obsidian. If it’s important I am installing through Pop! Shop. If anyone has any tips I would greatly appreciate it.
Totally unrelated but if anyone is familiar with the drive for desktop app on windows and knows how I can access the “other computers” part of my google drive I would really appreciate it. The gnome integration only gives me access to “My Drive” not my folders I have stored locally on other computers synced with google drive, where you can click “Other computers” and see all those files.
I really appreciate any and all help, thank you!
