Obsidian mangles notes by copying content from one title into another title

Steps to reproduce

open one note, start editing its content, then open another note

Expected result

content of another note is opened in the viewing window

Actual result

content of the previous note stays in the viewing window, and this content is saved instead of the original content of the opened note.
It happens randomly, i thought maybe my discs are malfunctioning🤔

Does this happen in the Sandbox vault?

Where is your own vault on disk? Is it in a cloud sync service? If so, is that service set correctly to always keep folders and files local?

it didn’t happen in the Sandbox vault now, while i’m playing with it, but it happens rarely and unexpectedly, like a glitch, maybe one switch in 500.

my obsidian vault is C:\prj\knowledge\obsidian_vault ; it’s not under cloud sync services, but it’s under GIT version control system (it helped me to catch the unexpected overwriting of notes).

Got it. That location doesn’t look like somewhere watched by a sync service.

In the debug info, you have Templater listed as enabled. You need to test with that off as well (if you aren’t already).

Have you noticed if this happens more often when changing the title itself and then quickly open another page?

I sometimes experience a bug (that could match yours) when the internal links are still been updating while I started another action like quickly open a note.

yes, i’ve deleted plugins and going to use the pure obsidian from now on

i’ve tested it several times, but haven’t caught the bug; for me i think it happened without changes of titles
