Obsidian deleted a file and it is not in trash

Hi. This is related to a closed topic from 2020:

Obsidian deleted a file - it is not in trash

I created a file and I pasted a couple of screenshots in it and writing text, and swapping browser tabs, and the file disappeared. And it is not in the hidden trash directory. And I lost everything in that file.

Compared to the closed thread mentioned above, what is different is my setup. I do not use iCloud. I use OSX (Macbook) but keep my vault at file system level, inside a directory that is being sync’ed using Google Drive.

Any clues, please? Is there a logfile I can check?

One extra piece of info. The attached screenshots are in the vault. But the file is gone.
