Obsidian buggy behavior with Insync Onedrive Client

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install the Insync client (insynchq dot com) and configure it to sync the Obsidian notes directory with Onedrive.
  2. Create a new note.
  3. Attempt to change the title or add text to the note, usually needs to be done immediately to reproduce the problem reliably.

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? Yes

Expected result

Obsidian should reflect the latest changes the user made to the note.

Actual result

The title and/or note text will revert back to an old version after a few seconds.

Environment

Linux CachyOS x86_64, KDE Plasma, 9800X3d/32GB Ram/Nvidia 5080/PCIe 5x NMVE

Additional information

I receive notifications from KDE Plasma about Insync syncing the note file and Obsidian saving it around the same time.

It sounds like insync is force re-writing an old version of the note and obsidian picks it back up.
However, I am not really familiar on how insync works.

I am sorry. we don’t provide support for third-party sync solutions. Moved to help section.
