I’m experiencing an issue where numbered lists (e.g., 1. One, 2. Two) appear correctly in the edit view but are missing the numbers in preview mode. Only the text content shows—no numbering or list formatting is preserved.
Steps to reproduce
Open obsidian and edit a Note
Add numbers like (1., 2.) Etc..
The numbers are shown in the Edit mode, but when i go in preview mode the numbers are gone.
Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? [Y/N] Y
Expected result
In the preview mode the numbers are shown as bullets shows.
Actual result
Only the text shows, the numbers are disappear.

And it appears that the Android System WebView is at fault for this, as I have found out—I found a temporary fix—by uninstalling it’s updates to which the numbered lists started to reappear again in preview mode.
However, there are downsides that I have found (two as of now) when I did this. First of all, after you uninstalled Android System WebView, Obsidian returns to its “Welcome” start-up after you first installed it (vault data is not affected though):
Second, when pasting images, it instead displays a broken image thingy, as seen below:
The other images that are pasted—before uninstalling the webview—are fine. It’s just the new pasted images have the problem.
I hope that this response is helpful to those who are experiencing the same issues as us and may the developers of this wonderful app find a way to resolve this issue. Thank you very much .
