I think what you’re really looking for is the “Reveal in Finder” command. This command can be used on any note or folder in your vault to easily show its location on your hard drive. From there, you can simply make a copy of your .MD file to share.
I’m on Mac, but this feature will be on Windows too—I assume as “Reveal in File Explorer” or something along those lines.
If I’m going to send a note of mine via text, I’ll just send a screenshot. It’s not like I need to share the embedded links or YAML properties, so I’m not concerned about sending the actual .MD files—only the idea I wanted to share which the note represents.
That said, if the feature you suggest existed, I’m not sure whether I’d ever use it or not.
