Notes Hub

Hi everyone

I built Notes Hub because sharing knowledge between Obsidian vaults shouldn’t require zip files, cloud links, github repositories and manual folder copying. I wanted publishing and pulling in notes, courses, and guides to feel as easy as installing a plugin.

features

  • One-click publishing: Right-click any folder, hit “Publish,” and Notes Hub packages it up and sends it to the marketplace — no manual zipping and no external tools.
  • packages library: Packages are displayed in a clean list view with title, description, and tags visible at a glance — sortable by newest or by tag.
  • Safe by design: Every package is scanned and sandboxed before it ever touches your vault. Malicious file types are blocked at publish time.
  • Zero vault pollution: Downloaded packages live in an isolated folder with option for namespaced tags (#pkg/package-name/topic), so someone else’s tags and links never leak into your own.

Installation

NotesHub is available directly in the Obsidian Community Plugins directory:

  1. Open Settings → Community plugins in Obsidian.
  2. Click Browse and search for Notes Hub.
  3. Click Install, then Enable.

Feedback & Supporting the Project

Notes Hub is solo-built and still early — every bug report, feature idea, and piece of feedback genuinely shapes where it goes next:

  • GitHub Repository: https://github.com/s-t-i-h-i/notesHub-plugin
  • Issue Tracker: https://github.com/s-t-i-h-i/notesHub-plugin/issues

If you find Notes Hub helpful, leaving a star on GitHub means a lot and helps others discover the project!
