Hey folks. I’m changing the default preview mode in the settings (Editor → Default View Mode = Preview)

but my notes keep opening in Editor mode.

Steps to reproduce

Editor → Default View Mode = Preview

Expected result

My notes will open in preview and not editor mode

Actual result

Notes open in editor mode.

Environment

  • Operating system: Win10
  • Obsidian version: 0.11.5

New notes will always open editor mode.

That setting is for default new pane mode. So if you are in editor pane and click on link to stay on the same pane, it will still be editor.

Does it make sense?
